The Need For Sacred Space

The Home Temple is something special that I am currently working on and studying.
I’m not certain exactly when it will be launched but it will be in the near future.

We will keep building temples till people realize the temple within themselves.

I see most people as searching for meaning and spiritual connection. Yet it seems we have been cast adrift. Ancient civilizations built temples and sacred spaces. These temples were not only places of ritual and connection, they also held energy. This energy allowed each person to connect with a higher self and to understand ones place in the cosmos.

We face many challenges in making this connection to our deeper spiritual selves. While some may have found a community that feeds them in this way, most people are left to flounder on their own. We live in a time where there is a terrible void in terms of being part of a larger whole. However, we are also in a time of great change, this change is moving all of us toward a connection with our higher selves. The question is, how do we nurture and connect with this change? There is a requirement for us to take part in it, not to sit passively by and wait for it to happen “to” us.

How do we do that? In close to three decades as being an architectural colour consultant what I have found is that people are deeply connected to their homes. I repeatedly hear from clients that their home is their sanctuary, or at least they want it to be.

My own personal journey has been one of delving into Sacred Geometry and the architecture of sacred spaces, why do they still hold such power for us? Why do they resonate within us? This led me to various studies on the subject and what I have learned is that in order to truly make our home, or a part of our home, a sanctuary that can actually transform our energy and do what those ancient temples did, there are certain steps that must be followed. It is not a haphazard process and the ancients understood this. This knowledge has not been lost, but it is up to us to honour it and then apply it in the correct fashion and order. When we do this we imbue that space with energy and meaning. It becomes a place where inner change can actively be affected.

This is where the Home Temple comes in and this is why I want to co-create it with you in your home or garden.

The Home Temple

The Home Temple can be created indoors or out, in a dedicated area.
There is a commitment to this space, after all it is your sacred space, and we will go through 7 steps to create it.

Through the powerful use of attention and intention we will begin our process.

A sacred geometry grid will be laid out and certain stones or crystals will be used to create our container.

During each stage our attention and intention is an important and powerful part of the process.

The beauty of this method is that it can be as discreet or as obvious as you would like it to be.
